A strong field of Māori tennis players have entered the championships making up at least 12% of all entries, to be hosted in Hamilton 25 -29 January 2020, led by kaumatua David Goldsmith in the 80+ grade, 35+ youngsters Shaun Tamai and Casey Tarau with evergreen Leona Kaye-Ivitu in the 55+.
