Dinny Mohi (Te Arawa, Ngāti Maniapoto) former Māori All Black and long serving BOP rugby representative and Super Seniors Māori tennis champion, was honoured with Life Membership of the Aotearoa Māori Tennis Association at the 96th Powhiri hosted at Turangawaewae Marae, 27 December 2022.
Dinny had the mana of the decoration enhanced by having Aotearoa Māori Tennis Patron Tūheitia Potatau Te Wherowhero VII GCCT KStJ, and Makau Ariki Te Atawhai Paki present his Life Membership.
