Page Hourigan Ngati Tuwharetoa won her first ITF Futures title in Portgual, Paige from Whanganui had to win through qualifying, then in the main draw where she defeated her Zimbabwean opponent 6/4 6/3 in the final.
Paige has just made the transition from University (Georgia Tech) to the Pro Circuit, although will return briefly to finish some papers in the fall, but full time on the professional circuit in 2019.
